As part of this remarkable journey, we are looking for a Proposal Specialist .

The job

The Proposal Specialist plays a crucial role in the development and submission of proposals in response to requests from potential customers or funding agencies.

This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information, writing, editing, and formatting proposal content, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and managing the proposal process from inception to submission.

You will report to the Director of Project Management and Engineering and be a part of the Project Management and Engineering team in North America.

Responsibilities

• Proposal Development :
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.
• Write, edit, and format proposal content in accordance with requirements and guidelines.
• Develop compelling narratives, value propositions, and solution outlines to effectively communicate the organization's offerings.
• Proposal Management :
• Lead the proposal process from initiation to submission, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to review and refine proposal content.
• Manage proposal documents and version control to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance :
• Ensure proposals meet all requirements outlined in requests for proposals (RFPs) or solicitations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Perform quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
• Knowledge Management :
• Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, and best practices for future reference.
• Continuously update and improve proposal materials based on feedback and lessons learned.
• Relationship Management :
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, engineering, product development, project management, and finance teams.
• Communicate effectively with external partners, clients, or customers as needed during the proposal process.

What we want from you

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree welcomed).
• 4-5 years’ experience in proposal development, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) or government contracting environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, as well as proposal terminology and standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Requirements :

• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet proposal deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events (if applicable).
